Barbara was recog- nized as an extraor- d i n a r y b u s i n e s s leader in the aero- space industry dur- ing the Committee for E conom ic De - velopment's Spring Policy Conference in Washington, D.C., on April 19-20, 2017. Olivia Lisbon , WAI 59371, recently was h i r e d a s t he n e w flight operations co- ordinator for ICON Aircraft at the Tampa Flight Center. Linda Castner , WAI 9639, has recent ly released a paper, co- authored with Rich Stowell, titled "Ef- fective Outreach: Preserving General Aviation by Putting the 'Public' in Pub- lic-Use Airports." A Master Instructor, C A R E E R S The National Aeronautic Association (NA A) selected Angela Gittens , WAI 55438 a nd d i rec tor genera l of A ir por ts Council International World, as the recipient of the 2017 Cliff Hen- derson Trophy. Female candidates or organizaƟons that have made significant contribuƟons to the aviaƟon industry as record seƩers, pioneers, or innova- tors are eligible. Posthumous nominaƟons are acceptable. Special consider- aƟon will be given to individuals who have helped other women become successful in aviaƟon or opened doors of opportunity. The inducƟon ceremony will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Reno-Sparks ConvenƟon Center in Reno, Nevada, during the 29th Annual Interna- Ɵonal Women in AviaƟon Conference.
