Congrats Chapter
Volunteer Jenn Nash!
After long deliberations, the WAI se-
lection committee awarded Jenn Nash,
WAI 51225 and member of the First in
Flight Chapter, the 2017 Dorothy Hilbert
Chapter Volunteer of the Year Award.
Jenn was cited for being an enthu-
siastic participant in chapter events,
even when she was deployed to the Mid-
dle East. She set up the chapter's web-
site and calendar, arranged a Google
Hangout, and created a how-to video for
chapter meetings. Jenn has also been
active in Girls in Aviation Day events. ✈

be more excited about the plans we are hearing from chapters organizing 2017 events.

event informaƟon on www.WAI.org. Email mmarƟn@wai.org today with your Girls in
AviaƟon Day contact person's informaƟon, and a brief, high-level descripƟon of your
event, as well as a link to any website, Facebook page, or e-vite pages for your event,
if you have them.
• InternaƟonal Chapters—we'll need your order for GIAD materials by July 15.
• U.S. Chapters—we'll need your order for GIAD materials by August 1.
