CAPITOL REGION CHAPTER On Friday, November 10, 60 women and men gathered at a private event space at Legal Sea- foods overlooking the runway and terminal building at Reagan National Airport (DCA). Signature Flight Support generously spon- sored the appetizers and beverages. A raffle of various items raised funds to start a new CRC scholarship. Maria Killian , chapter president, gave a welcoming speech and Kelly Murphy of WAI headquarters provided us with news on how to become a member and member benefits. All members were encouraged to apply for a scholarship and conversations included apply- ing for an aircraft engine and training for a new career as a flight dispatcher. Erin Miller , granddaughter of WASP Elaine H a r m o n , w a s a n i n s p i r i n g speaker sharing her remark- able story and fight to have her grandma buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
