A Bonanza owner for over 30 years, she is an active board member and pilot for the Flying Doctors of Mercy. Carey Lohrenz As the first female F-14 Tomcat pi- lot, Carey was a pioneer in military aviation. Having flown missions worldwide as a combat, mission- ready U.S. Navy pilot, Carey is used to working in fast-moving, dynamic environments where incon- sistent execution can generate catastrophic results. The author of Fearless Leadership: High Perfor- mance Lessons From the Flight Deck, Carey is both motivational and inspirational. Marily Mora As president and CEO of the Reno- Ta h o e Air p o r t Au t h o r it y (RTA A ) sin ce 2013 , Marily is responsible for leading and directing the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) and the Reno-Stead Airport (RTS). She has 30 years of air- port management experience. Janine Shepherd An internationally renowned speaker, Janine's inspiring TED Talk "A Broken Body Isn't a Broken Person" has garnered over 1.5 million views. Janine suffered life-threatening injuries when she was hit by a truck in Australia during a training bike ride. She used flight training as her rehabilita- tion and recovery. Nicole Stott A retired NASA astronaut, Nicole is pursuing her next adventure as a full-time artist. In- spired by her spaceflights, she uses her artwork to share her experiences through the windows of the space shuttle and space station and actively sup- ports STEAM/STEM educational organizations. Shaesta Waiz Founder and president of Dreams Soar Inc., Shaesta is the first civilian female pilot from Afghanistan and in 2017 completed a solo flight around the world to inspire and empower women to pursue STEM-related careers.
