Another great communication opportunity was the Meet and Mingle with the WAI Board where members had a chance to speak directly to board members and ask questions. Pioneer Hall of Fame and Closing CelebraƟon Saturday evening's celebration was highlighted by the induction cer- emony of three women into the WAI International Pioneer Hall of Fame. Bonnie Tiburzi Caputo , the first woman hired by a major airline as a member of the cock- pit crew and whose American Air- lines uniform is on display at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum; Kathleen Fox whose career in air traffic control in Canada led to senior positions with NAV CANADA and today she serves as the chair of the Trans- portation Safety Board of Canada; and Brig.
