The annu- al event in Lakeland, Florida, included booth vis- its from our members and volunteers who helped to both renew and engage new members. During the week, WAI hosted the daily SUN 'n FUN radio show featuring a variety of guests and talked to media outlets about our scholarship program, annual confer- ence, and Girls in Aviation Day 2018. The traditional WAI Connect Lunch, sponsored by Mooney and Piedmont Airlines, drew a large crowd that was entertained by a lively panel discussion with female aviation pioneers. ✈ Be Part of WomenVenture at #OSH18! WAI members aƩending EAA AirVenture Oshkosh this summer, July 23-29, can take advantage of all the WomenVenture events throughout the week.
