Mar y Poplawski , WAI 4337, recently earned her B757 type rating and became a Captain for FedEx Express on the B757. R a c h e l R u n n e r , WA I 62737, recently successfully completed her private pilot checkride in a Piper War- rior PA-28-161. ✈ W A I N E W S M E M B E R S Welcome New Corporate Members Mary Poplawski Moe Makowski Rachel Runner Lucy Young , WAI 764, has been elected to the Hon- ourable Company of Air Pilots as an Upper Free- man in the North America Region. The Honourable Company of Air Pilots was formerly the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators, one of the Liver y Co m- panies of the City of Lon- d o n . It w as f o und e d in 1929 and granted honour- able status by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2014. It is unique among livery companies in having active regional committees in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and North America.
