The girls will be in the presence of amazing role models ranging from airline pilots to aircraft mechanics to aviation industry executives. They'll learn how to read a sectional chart, go on a treasure hunt, learn the phonetic alphabet, fy a fight simulator, build an airport, use tools by making wire bracelets, and lots more hands-on activities. A group lunch with a dynamic speaker is planned, followed by ac- cess to the exhibit hall to interact with companies and organizations of interest to them. A college fair with representatives from aviation-ori- ented schools will be of interest to the older girls. Help encourage the next generation of women in aviation by partic- ipating in Saturday's Girls in Aviation Day Nashville. The day's activi- ties are available for $10 per girl, including lunch. A parent or chaper- one is encouraged to attend and eat lunch for $10. Space is limited, so register today. www.WAI.org/events for a link to the registration form or call 937-839-4647.
