I'll guide you through 10 surefre ways to best care for the most important professional asset—YOU. Putting yourself frst has long been viewed by society as a negative. In reality, if you don't care properly for yourself, you will have noth- ing left for your work, family, friends, co-workers, or community. This fun hands-on workshop applies aviation principles like load-shedding, preventive maintenance, and emergency checklists in a new way to enhance the continual care and feeding of YOU! IMPOSTER SYNDROME: ARE YOU AFFLICTED? Presented by Alisoun McCloughen, Dawn Newman, Robin Nolen Thursday, March 10 2-4 p.m. Cost: $30 member, $40 non-member Do you wrestle with feelings of self-doubt? Are you afraid that people will discover that you're not really as capable as they think you are? Do you use self-limiting language? Do you give credit to luck, timing, or others for your accomplishments? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be afficted with Imposter Syndrome. Learn how to become more aware of these behaviors, reframe the conversation in your head and with others, embrace your strengths, and commit to a change that moves you forward. We invite you to engage in activities geared around this phenomenon with other conference attendees. We'll review current research and feature interviews with women who will inspire you to change your mindset and develop strategies for becoming one of tomorrow's confdent, capable leaders. AOPA RUSTY PILOTS SEMINAR Friday, March 11 6-9 p.m. Cost: Free Life may have gotten in the way, but the dream of fight can be yours again. Return- ing to the sky is not as dif- fcult as most rusty pilots think. We're inviting you back in the cockpit and will help you get there. Come and participate in a free Rusty Pilots program with fellow lapsed pilots. We will help you understand what's changed in aviation since you last took the controls and brush up on your aviation knowledge in airspace, weather, and regulations. This seminar is also a good review for student pilots who are currently in ground school.
